gods of Men

Ask Ben;

And he tells you when;

They became the gods of men;

They just wave;

And men come out of the grave;

Or is the brave;

Become weak and timid;

Solid into liquid;

Or do I say stupid;

They are the gods of men,

Insane;

But then ask Ben;

They have the power and money;

And milk and honey;

And they are funny;

You will see them;

From the roof tops of their cars they came;

And it’s you they tame;

They know;

They sore;

And they grow;

And people will chant;

Foolish slogans and want;

And they will never grant;

As they are the gods of men;

Just like a writer with a pen,

They know how to get you in the lion’s den;

Just watch and you will see,

You will see the spree;

And as a poet that’s my plea
